Yael’s Loving World {Giveaway}

July 13th, 2011 Print

If you have a young daughter you are certainly familiar with Hello Kitty, Dora the Explorer and various other Disney-type characters that children can’t seem to get enough of.

Utilizing her professional background in marketing and writing, Malky Weinstock has ambitiously created a brand, Lite Girl (which is an acronym for love, inspire, teach, encourage), that aims to develop a set of creative characters, with books, dolls and associated merchandising that will inspire girls with Jewish values.

“I wanted to create a brand that would not only be fun, creative, entertaining and collectible, but also educational and inspirational, gently promoting the values of Ahavas Yisroel (love of one’s fellow Jew) and Ahavas Hashem (love of G-d), because today’s young girls are tomorrow’s mothers.”, Malky told Savvima.com.  “Imagine if I could not merely entertain, but discreetly inspire young girls today, to be the kind of the kind of women who are empowered with these core values and will make this world a better place!”,  says Malky enthusiastically.

We meet Lite Girl’s first character, Yael, in a recently released book called “Yael’s Loving World”.  In this full-color book, beautifully illustrated by Steve Pileggi, readers follow Yael as she appreciates all of the people in her life, and Hashem, who brings them all to her. The book comes with an audio CD containing a read along to the book and a theme song sung by accomplished singer and performer Rachel Ravitz.

“Yael’s Loving World” is only the first of a whole line of adorable products featuring Yael. Lite Girl is working hard to produce a second Yael book called “New Shoes for Yael”, a Yael doll and a back-to-school line featuring a Yael backpack and Yael school supplies! Other books such as “Yael Becomes a Giver” and “Yael Worries No More” are also in the works.

“Yael’s Loving World” is available for sale at your local Judaica store and online at bealitegirl.com. When ordering online use coupon code “SHIPFREE” to receive free shipping!

Post a comment below before Thursday, July 21st, and be entered to win a free copy of Yael’s Loving World” by Malky Weinstock!
