Chocolate Mustaches
March 7th, 2011 PrintWe all know the five M’s of Purim… Megillah, Mishteh (meal), Mishloach Manos, Matanos L’Evyonim (charity for the poor), and Mustaches.
Chances are you’ve picked up on the party mustache trend. If there ever was an appropriate time to tie in this craze to a Jewish holiday, it has to be Purim.
Making chocolate mustache pops is as easy as melting chocolate, filling a mold, and inserting lolly sticks.
Or you can make these adorable foam mustaches and lips that slide onto a lolly.

Enjoy taking picks of all your mustached guests!

How many lips/mustaches would you say you can get from 1 bag of chocolate melts? I’m trying to figure out how many bags I would need to buy if I wanted to make around 150 lollipops. This is a super cute idea, btw.
Here’s a link which may help you make the calculations:

Or you can fill the mold with water, pour off the water into a measuring cup / baby bottle, take not of the measurement and use equal amounts of chocolate.
Good luck!
