Savvima Review of Mitzvah Boulevard
December 22nd, 2010 Print
Mitzvah Boulevard is a new series of learning and entertainment DVDs. In this first volume your kids will join Eli and his friends as they learn the Aleph Beis.
Mitzvah Boulevard contains a mix of graphics, kids at play, and zany puppets. The mellow melodies of Chaim Fogelman are a nice break from a certain popular uncle we sometimes grow tired of. All in all the mix is witty, fun, and let’s face it, reminiscent of Sesame Street. But of course the content is perfectly geared to the Jewish family.
Highlights of Eli’s journey through the Hebrew alphabet include funny antics, such as the lukshen concoction and Refael the rofeh, and mitzvos such as brachos, tzedakah, and shabbos.
In an effort to appeal to everyone, the DVD features 4 pronunciation preferences: Traditional, Evrit, English, and Yiddish.
