Ingredients:
1 large (6 oz.) bag of light popped popcorn (alternatively you can use 12 cups freshly popped corn)
1 tablespoon canola oil
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice*
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup shelled pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup craisins
Directions:
- Pour oil into a large ziploc bag. Swish it around so the bag gets evenly coated with oil. Fill the bag with the popped popcorn and seal. Shake and toss the bag around to coat the popcorn with the oil.
- In a small bowl combine the brown sugar, pumpkin spice, and salt. Pour into the popcorn bag with the pumpkin seeds and craisins. Shake and toss the sealed bag again to coat the popcorn with the spices.
*Pumpkin pie spice is a blend of several spices commonly used in pumpkin pie. If you don’t have this on hand you can substitute one tablespoon of pumpkin pie spice with the following: 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon, 3/4 teaspoon ginger powder, 3/8 teaspoon nutmeg, and 3/8 teaspoon ground cloves.
