{Lowfat} Penne A La Vodka

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon Olive Oil
2 tablespoon Butter
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon Oregano
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 cup pizza sauce
1 teaspoon salt
pepper
2/3 cup Flour
3 cups milk
1 tablespoon vodka
1 pound penne, cooked

Directions:

  1. In a pan, heat the oil and butter. Sauté the onions and garlic. After 5 min add basil and oregano along with pizza sauce, salt & pepper to taste.
  2. Simmer on low for about 10 minutes until the onions are soft.
  3. In a second pot combine the milk and flour. Mix until smooth.
  4. Combine both sauces together thoroughly. Add Vodka, mix and toss over hot penne.
